DO YOU HAVE THE SAME BUT IN PANTS?

It is our very first release and our very first studio experience. A big thanks to Stephane Kroug who made it possible, helping us to feel comfortable, since it wasn't exactly easy for us to do it.

We barely could play our instruments and the songs weren't so tight. We went in studio to record one 20 seconds song, for a German compilation that's never been released (as far as we know !), that's how we created « Nausea » (which remains my favorite song of this album probably). We ended up recording 5 songs and then I came up with the idea of making this little demo.

The sound is pretty bad, we couldn't even fix our amps back then so Stephane had to do it for us. Still it was lots of fun and boy were we proud when we finally listened to it mixed and stuff. It contains the very first song we ever created, Igor and I : I don't have any…, which was about sexual experience we didn't had back then (hopefully it changed... a few months ago ;-). Now, Gr3g refuses to play this song ever again, but I still think that would be fun.

Anyway we can't remember any others songs of this album except for Nausea. It's totally out of print, and I don't have a copy myself, any gift welcome ! !

DON'T ASK QUESTIONS

Same place, same guy, we went in studio to record this EP with the collaboration of PTR (Geneva musical organisation). The songs are way better and we can eventually play some of them live.

There's nothing special to say about the record except that I played most of the guitars and all the bass parts, since Mark was unable to do it. He left the band a few weeks later, I think he was offended by that. But that was just something to do since we really couldn't use his tracks for the record.

Igor changed his name on the linenotes and people thought we changed our drummer, but that's just out of question, we won't ever get rid of him.

This records is out of print as well but we might have some left of it in Igor's room.

TAKE A BREATH

This is our first full length album. It took quite a lot of time to finalize the songs for this one, we had to make demos, practice and more practice and demos… Then we went in studio with T.V.O who also worked with Taste like chicken and Knut. I'm very satisfied with those songs, the lyrics are pretty good to my opinion, which wasn't necesserly the case on the 2 previous EP ( but hey, we all make mistake, right ?).

The mood for the recording was pretty strange at the time, in our good old Hateful tradition, Myriam was just about to quit the band, so she didn't record the album except for some vocals and solos and she finally quit the band a few weeks later. We were also fighting about almost every single details event the ones that doesn't matter at all. But all in all it ended pretty positively.

The cool thing is that we have Uncommonmenfrommars singing some back-up vocals on some songs. They do a solo as well on Mad at the world.. They are great guys and it's pretty cool to have them on the record. Gr3g still kinda hates the artwork, but so does half of the people that bought the album. I personnally like it and so does the other half of the people that bought the album. Contains the song Near Death Experience, which is probably the best song we wrote until now to my opinion…

THE LAST MARCH OF THE IGNORANTS

Our second full length and by far the most complete record we ever made. We prepared the recording the best we could and I almost couldn't believe how profesionnal we can be sometimes (it's very rare !). We made pre- production records, we practiced even harder and I think it can be heard on the cd that everything sound more precise and thought…

We were a bit short on time during the recording sessions so we had to give up on one song, maybe we'll record it later on for a 7inches or a compilation, who knows... It's been a real pleasure to work with Serge Morattel, he's one damn fun dude and a great sound engineer too. He made us feel comfortable and helped us in many ways in order to bring the best sound possible. We're so satisfied with the global sound, it couldn't have been better. Plus : the mastering has been done by Eddy Schreier ( Slipknot, System of a down and most of the Epitaph roster) at Oasis mastering in California. Do I really need to say more ?
